Vail Vacation Rentals, Condos & Homes
Vail
Those who have been lucky enough travel to Vail know why it has been voted the #1 Resort in North America 14 out of the last 20 years. “More a snow empire than a resort” (skinet) Vail’s 5,289 ski-able acres start at 11,570 feet above sea level and are spread out over nearly seven miles. Vail’s famous Back Bowls account for 3,017 acres, while the Front side at 1,627 acres and Blue Sky Basin at 645 acres offer skiers some of the best and most varied patrolled terrain in the world. The size and layout of Vail mountain is such that on an average ski day there are less than 2 skiers riding per acre and only 4 skiers per acre over the busy holiday times, (that means lots of elbow room and fresh tracks).

Vail, determined to hold the crown as “best-of-the-best” is undergoing a highly publicized billion dollar renovation (although that number has recently increased to nearly $3 billion) called Vail’s New Dawn. In December of 2007, the grand opening of the $250 million Arrabelle Hotel / Resort complex - the grand centerpiece of the massive Lionshead redevelopment project will come to completion. Upgrades to snowmaking, dining, and grooming operations will be online for the 07/08 season as well.
The sweeping improvements and the fabled ski mountain are not the only reason people are drawn to Vail, as the city itself is a destination for those who enjoy the finest that life has to offer. With an abundance of European boutique shops, five-star dining, exclusive nightclubs, and world class entertainment Vail is the place to be, even when the lifts aren’t running!
While the resort may offer the finest skiing in North America, Peak Properties offers the finest and most premier lodging in all of Vail. Browse our properties to find the finest in Vail vacation rentals, Vail condos, amenities, and personalized service available.
